
Fred Perry
Adjunct Consultant
Fred has spent most of his life living or working globally. A citizen of the world, Fred has lived in eight countries and travelled extensively to 72 others. He is the Executive Director of Kelley Global at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, where he has leveraged his global career to build stronger engagements and partnerships for advancement around the world. Fred has served in various roles to lead international development and fundraising efforts at IU and helped develop, find funding for, and manage international capacity building projects in the Middle East, North and West Africa, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. From 2018 – 2021 he spent three years building the major gift and market level fundraising team as the Director of Development for Preemptive Love (now “Search for a Common Ground”). Preemptive Love’s work stretched across Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Mexico, Venezuela, and Afghanistan, providing $20 Million / year of emergency relief and sustainable development for refugees and migrant communities impacted by war and violence.
Fred serves on the board of The Alsama Project, a non-profit providing education and personal development through sports to refugee youth in Lebanon and Syria’s refugee camps and for Play 360, a Bloomington based non-profit, working to transform education through play around the world. Fred holds a B.S. In Kinesiology and an M.S. in Middle East Studies from Indiana University.
